Facilities and grading

Afan Forest Park is stretched over 64 square kilometres with 30,000 hectares of forest, and is part of the largest urban forest in Europe. The Forest Park is a popular destination for walking, cycling, orienteering, camping, educational visits and events.’ 

To date, the Forest Park is home to four world class mountain bike trails, several foot paths leading to spectacular views (with some easy gradient trails for families and the less able to enjoy) and a family cycle trail that links local communities and accommodation providers to both Visitor Centres in the Forest Park.
